''suicide commando'' (a.k.a. ''johan van roy''), one of the most important ''dark waved electronic / e.b.m. / industrial'' figures of all time, began experimenting with ''electronic'' music in 1986. two years later, he released his first demo tape under the moniker ''suicide commando''. from 1989 to 1993, van roy's was into releasing his demo tapes (cassettes) hoping to sign for some serious label. from that quest it came:

in 1994 his first full lenght c.d., ''critical stage'', was released on the german label ''off-beat''. shortly after, in 1995, ''suicide commando'' released ''stored images''. 1996 was the ten-year anniversary of ''suicide commando'', & with it came the release of ''contamination'', as well as the limited boxed version, which contained a bonus 3'' c.d. featuring previously unreleased material. ''contamination'' was released a year later in north america by the now defunct ''electronic death trip records''. in 1998, ''suicide commando'' released the album ''construct >< destruct'' & its sister release, ''reconstruction''.
in 1999 ''van roy'' found himself as one of the founders of the ''dependent records'' label. it was on this new label that ''suicide commando'' successfully released next two singles & one e.p.: ''hellraiser'', ''comatose delusion'' & ''love breeds suicide'', accompanied with 2000 release, ''mindstrip''. later the ''mindstrip'' was licensed & released in north america by ''metropolis records''.
in 2002 ''suicide commando'' has released the d.c.d. anthology on ''dependent records'', a compilation of the best & biggest ''suicide commando'' tracks up so far, including all club hits like ''hellraiser'', ''see you in hell'', ''love breeds suicide'', & offering some exclusive new remixes & rare versions.
for suicide commando's next release, ''axis of evil'', a special edition double single called ''face of death'' was released beforehand, selling out in two days. the regular edition of the single continues to sell & ''axis of evil'' was voted album of the year (2003) by many worlds alternative charts. in 2004 ''suicide commando'' released another limited edition double single, ''cause of death: suicide'' & ''one nation under god''.
in 2006, ''van roy'' returns with the album ''bind, torture, kill'' (also available as limited edition including a bonus disc, poster & sticker), featuring the single ''godsend'' & ''menschenfresser'', released on johan's own new label ''noise terror productions'', a new division of ''dependent records''.
in 2007, one year after the band's 20th anniversary, ''van roy'' released the ''X20'' boxset including 3 c.d.'s (one remix c.d., one best-of c.d. & the ''fuck you bitch'' e.p.) & his very first live d.v.d. (the special remix c.d. & the best-of album were later released as separate discs by ''metropolis records'').
at the end of 2007 ''suicide commando'' has returned with the song ''hate me'', his first new material since the ''bind, torture, kill'' album.
in 2008, he started working on a new material so the ''until we die / severed head'' & ''die motherfucker die'' single/e.p.'s were released, signed for a new label, the mighty ''out of line''. as a result of a new label deal (which was the most important move in his entire career), in 2010 came ''god is in the rain'' single, as well as the ''god is in the rain'' album.
2010 was the year for another release, the ''implements of hell'' album, & it was just another masterpiece in the ''van roy'' series.
in 2011, 6 x c.d. best-of box set, ''the suicide sessions'', was released for ''world wide electronics'' label.
now it's 2012, & it's time for van roy's new release, & it is:
