''dryft'' a.k.a. ''bitcrush'' (real name ''mike cadoo'') is mostly known as a member of high-end ''electronic'' ex-duo called ''gridlock''. after dissolution of ''gridlock'' in 2005, ''mike'' went in two separate ways. one was ''dryft'' which is a ''drum & bass / i.d.m. / ambient / industrial / electronic'' type of thing & ''bitcrush'' which is more like ''electronic / i.d.m. / glitch / ambient / downtempo'' mix-up. here i present mike's ''dryft'' side at its very best:
