amygdala

''amygdala'' (a.k.a. ''amygdala projects'') is the stage name of ''lászló néder'' from hungary. he's a guitar player & a member of a ''rock'' band called ''terra luna''.
5 years ago, he started making ''electronic'' music influenced by ''ambient'', ''trance'' & ''industrial''.
in 2008 he began live acting throughout ''budapest'' clubs, as well as, in 2010, at the biggest hungarian music festival - ''sziget fesztivál''.
nowadays, he composes music for short documentaries & industrial videos.
here i present his ''electronic'' masterpiece - (!) probably the best ''electronic'' album of the year:

bioskop

''miroslav kraupa'' (a.k.a. ''shomy woodman'') was born & grew up in a small, hilly, industrial town of ''smederevo'', near the capital of serbia, ''belgrade''. at high school, influenced by the ''sex pistols'' he started his musical career playing guitar in various ''punk'' bands. in the early 90's he discovered bands like ''happy mondays'', ''the soup dragons'', ''the stone roses'', ''stereo m.c.'s'', ''primal scream'' & ''the charlatans'' which led him to form ''bioskop'' (along with ''dejan džinić''). the first & only release called ''samovoljno slobodne kreacije'' (''willful free creations'') went out as a cassette in 1998, arriving at a time when civil war gripped the former federal republic of yugoslavia. the album was a complete stunner at that time, merging ''electronic / freestyle fusions / industrial dance'' production along with prolific & conscious lyrics.
after spliting ''bioskop'' project, ''shomy'' took time away from music for personal reasons until 2008 when he realised he missed the scene too much. he recorded a single ''vatra'' (''fire'') with a guitarist from ''vancouver'', canada, called ''laka ruka'' (''easy hand''). in the meantime, former female back-singer of the ''happy mondays'', ''rowetta'', joined him & together they recorded three songs & a video.
''shomy'' now lives in ''belgrade'', serbia, & works as a solo artist & a d.j.
in honor of this great artist i'm bringing:

01. ''depresija'' (video clip, 1998)
02. ''samovoljno slobodne kreacije'' (reissue, unofficial release, 2009)

re/act

''oliver taranczewski'' & ''martin glaser'' first started in 1993 as ''human factor'', but soon as they signed for german ex-label ''hypnobeat'', in 1997, they decided to change their name into ''re/act''. ''peter weinert'' joined the duo, so the first releases came out. those were: ''virtual symmetry'' (e.p., 1997) & ''the reason, the understanding & time'' (album, 1997), which later turned out as the only two releases they've ever made.
in order to introduce this ''electronic / e.b.m. / industrial / synth-pop'' band i'm bringing:

01. ''virtual symmetry'' (e.p., 1997)
