figurative theatre

ever heard for the city of ''ниш''? guess not... anyway, it's the serbian second largest city placed near the border of kosovo (ancient part of serbian territory taken away by abnormal natality of the ''шиптари'' [kosovo albanians] who from minority became the absolute majority & by the strategic interest of u.s. & european union governments). ''ниш'' population is around 260.000 people who probably have never ever heard for their fellow citizens, ''figurative theatre''. however, ''figurative theatre'' is one of the most important ''underground electronic'' bands coming out of the eastern european part of universe.
the band is consisted of: vladimir popović (a.k.a. ''pop'', ''crocodile tears'' / member of ''southentik krew'', ''styptic'' / founder of ''black planet records'' label), katarina živanović & predrag živanović (a.k.a. ''pedja''). their ''electronic / dada wave / post-industrial / industrial / trance / e.b.m.'' blend is a specific homage to a honest & uncorrupted period of ''electronic'' music - second half of the 80's-first half of the 90's.

''quivion'' (real name unknown), is a english man living in ''stockholm'', sweden. he started as a ''house'' d.j. in the 90's & came back to music a couple of years ago.
this is what he said to me:

this is about someone i met at ''reverb nation'' a long time ago but, unfortunately, only just now i've decided to give it some more attention...
''sid gilbert'', a founder & a leader of new york-based act called ''smokeriser'' is the very person responsible for some of the most interesting ''electronic / industrial / rhythmic noise / e.b.m.'' beats i've heard in a very long time. you can say it's similar to ''nin kuji'', you can say it's similar to ''skinny puppy'', but who cares... it's awesome & it's outstanding!
